What
is personal life coaching?
Personal
life coaching is a relationship between two
people, one a coach and one a client, in
an equal status with the mutual goal of
helping the client achieve the life of
their dreams
through the use of exercises, powerful
questions, visualization, goal-setting and
more.
Personal
life coaching (which is not advice,
therapy or counseling) may address
specific personal projects, business
successes or general conditions in the
client’s life or profession and is a
type of coaching in which the client and
the coach work together to find ways to
make the client's life more satisfying and
fulfilling right now.
This
can be accomplished through values
clarification, brainstorming, identifying
plans of action, examining modes of
operating in life, asking clarifying
questions and making empowering requests.
The
client still gets to do all the work,
however the personal life coach is there to provide
guidance, support, a safe place for the
client to be and accountability for the
client.
How
do the sessions work?
Once
the client has signed the coaching
contract and paid for the initial
three-months of personal life coaching,
the client will be asked to complete a
number of questions designed to give the
coach an idea of where the client is at
and where the client would like to go.
After
this initial information is received, sessions
will take place on a date and time
mutually agreed upon by client and
coach. Up to two hours is available
per client each month. Additional time is
available at additional cost and can be arranged on a case-by-case basis.
What
are your fees?
For
two hours per month the
fee for the first three months is $600.00 ($200.00 per month)
payable in advance.
Upon
completion of the initial three months,
coaching will convert to a month-to-month
basis.
The monthly fee is $200.00 and the
billing date is the same date each month.
The client will be invoiced monthly
one month in advance.
What
is your cancellation policy?
The
client and coaching company agree to
provide one another with a fourteen-day
written notice in the event it is desired
to cancel further services.
What
is your refund policy?
The
refund policy of the coaching company
while in the initial three-month coaching
phase is as follows:
a)
The client may receive a one
hundred percent refund if no sessions have been completed.
b)
If the client has had any sessions
(including chargeable missed
appointments), the refund will be pro-rated
based on the number of months remaining in
the coaching agreement.
The
refund policy of the coaching company
while in the month-to-month coaching phase
is as follows:
a)
If no sessions have been held
(including chargeable missed appointments)
and it is the intention of the client to
terminate the coaching relationship, a
refund of the applicable month will be
given upon receipt of written notification
of the termination of the coaching
relationship.
b)
If no sessions have been held but
there was a chargeable missed appointment,
no refund will be given for that month.
c)
If no sessions have been held
(including chargeable missed appointments)
and the client still wishes to continue
with the coaching arrangement, no refund
will be given.
Examples
are given in the agreement that is signed
between the client and company for further
clarification.
Is
there any guarantee or warranty of results
based on coaching?
The
company and coach guarantee to fulfill the
contract terms to the utmost of their
abilities.
However,
since the results of the coaching lie
within the actions taken by the client, no
express guarantee or warranty can be made
regarding the results of the coaching
sessions.
By
signing the agreement, the client
understands he or she is fully accountable
for the results of the coaching
relationship as he or she is the one who
takes or does not take action with what is
learned during and in between the
sessions.
